Virtual Town Hall on Proposed Rezoning Application at 3204 14 Street SW

The Mount Royal Community Association has received an application regarding 3204 14 Street SW to rezone this property from a single family dwelling zoning to one that allows for a wider range of housing including semi-detached, duplex, cottage cluster housing and town housing. The new zoning would allow for greater lot coverage, greater height, reduced yard requirements and higher density.

The MRCA and residents have an opportunity to provide comments on this proposal until July 29, 2021.

Roy Wright and Robert Pashuk are hosting a virtual town hall to explain the rezoning application process, gather your opinions and concerns prior to providing the MRCA’s response to the rezoning application, and explain how you can provide feedback directly to the development authority. Representatives of the proponent of the rezoning application will be present for a portion of the meeting. You can read the proponent’s letter to the MRCA here:

The virtual meeting will be held on Thursday, July 22, at 7 pm.

To attend the meeting, you need to register here.
