2026 Tennis Pro : ANDRE SZILVASSY
The MRCA Tennis Committee is delighted to announce that for 2026, MRCA has retained the tennis teaching pro services of tennis pro Andre Szilvassy. The majority of his services will be provided during non-prime time, to minimize disruption to MRCA tennis members drop-in hourly play.
Andre is a highly accomplished tennis pro who competed on the international pro tennis tour for two years. His approach to teaching tennis is fun, highly knowledgeable, supportive, positive and thoughtful.
His teaching spans from beginners right through to the very highest level competitive players. During the 2025 winter season, he taught all levels of players at the Glencoe Club.
PROGRAMMING
Andre will provide the following during the months of May through September:
- Off-peak hours lessons – weekdays 7:00am to 10:00am and noon to 2:00pm
- MRCA members and non-members
- One-hour individual or group lesson bookings
- The west MRCA court will be prioritized to Andre for the above hours, when lessons have been booked with him
- Peak hours lessons – weekdays after 2:00pm or weekends
- MRCA members only
- One-hour lessons
- Subject to the standard MRCA member one-hour court availability rules
- Cardio Tennis
- Intermediate level

PAYMENTS
Booking fees will be as follows:

Payment for sessions will be by either onsite with credit cards or electronic transfer by Interac.
